Our Mission

The Mission of Glenridge is to enable Christian Scientists of advancing years to establish a home and haven for independent living in an atmosphere supportive of their continued study and practice of Christian Science.

NONPROFIT 501(c)(3)

Glenridge, Inc. was organized in 1984 as a NONPROFIT 501(c)(3) CORPORATION under the laws of the state of Missouri.

It is a member of the Organization of Residential Homes.

Garden Villas

Glenridge is located within Garden Villas, an independent-living, full-service retirement community open to the public. This allows Glenridge to offer residents many benefits without an upfront investment or long-term commitment. Spouses need not be Christian Scientists.

Very Active Christian Science Community

Garden Villas is located in the suburb of Town and Country, west of downtown Saint Louis. Here you will find a very active Christian Science community. There are many Christian Science churches in the area. One is just a mile from Garden Villas. The Principia School, and Peace Haven (a Christian Science care facility), are nearby. Also, Saint Louis offers pleasant winters and many cultural experiences.

Executive Director

Glenridge employs an Executive Director who works to strengthen and communicate the Glenridge mission and to facilitate a community committed to the practice of Christian Science as founded by Mary Baker Eddy.

Study Room

Glenridge maintains a Study Room stocked with Christian Science literature and open for prayer and study. Residents meet here to read and discuss the weekly Bible Lesson and share fellowship.
